ShotSync vs generic CRMs

A CRM tracks the deal. A studio has to shoot it.

Generic CRMs are built for sales teams: contacts, deals, stages. A photography studio also has to staff ceremonies, move gear, deliver thousands of photos and get an album approved.

  • Crew seats per ceremony
  • Clashes and gear conflicts caught
  • Galleries and albums in the client app

14 days free. No card needed.

What studios need

Five things a sales CRM was never built to do.

01

Crew, by role and ceremony

A wedding needs a lead, a candid shooter, film and maybe a drone, for each ceremony. ShotSync shows who is free, sends invites and fills the seats as people say yes.

  • Seats by role for every session
  • Yes or no in the app, with reminders
  • Workload across the team at a glance

02

Clashes before they happen

Book Rohan for a baraat and an engagement at the same hour and ShotSync says so. It also checks time off, gear already out and travel time between venues.

  • Double bookings flagged
  • Time off respected

03

Gear that is tracked, not remembered

Cameras, lenses and drones booked on jobs, with QR labels to scan out and back in. A drone in repair cannot be booked, and the same lens cannot go to two shoots.

  • QR labels and scanning
  • Repairs block bookings
  • Gear conflicts flagged

Galleries in the same place as the job

Upload, cull and edit against the deadline you promised, then deliver in the client app. Couples heart their favourites and tap “Send selections”; no separate gallery tool.

  • RAW + JPEG uploads, duplicates skipped
  • Swipe and keyboard culling
  • Favourites with a limit and comments

Albums approved spread by spread

Send the album design to the couple. They approve each spread or ask for changes, and nothing goes to the lab until every spread is approved.

  • Comments on each spread
  • Changes tracked to the end
  • From design to handed over

Questions

Is ShotSync a CRM?
It includes one: leads from Instagram, WedMeGood, JustDial and WhatsApp on one board, proposals and contracts. Around it sits what a studio needs after the booking: crew, gear, the shoot day, editing, galleries and albums.
We already use a CRM for sales. Do we need both?
Many studios use a generic CRM because nothing else fitted. If most of your work after the booking happens in spreadsheets and chats, ShotSync can hold both the sales side and the shoots in one place.
Can I not just add custom fields for crew and gear?
You can store names, but a field cannot tell you that a photographer is booked twice, that a lens is in repair, or that a ceremony still has an empty drone seat. ShotSync works these out for you.
Does ShotSync handle galleries too?
Yes. Upload RAW and JPEG, cull, edit against a deadline, then deliver in the client app, where couples heart favourites, send selections and approve the album.
Is it made for Indian studios?
Yes. Prices are in ₹ with GST, weddings run over many ceremonies, and leads come from the places Indian couples find you.
How long does it take to set up?
A few minutes to create the studio, add your packages and invite your team. The 14-day free trial needs no card.
