How to get couples to choose their favourite photos faster
Practical ways to help couples pick album photos quickly: proofing galleries, selection limits, deadlines and spread-by-spread album approval.

The album cannot start until the couple picks their photos, and many couples take months. These habits shorten the wait.
Share a proofing gallery, not a drive link
A folder of 3,000 files is overwhelming. A proofing gallery that opens on the phone, with large previews and a heart button, makes choosing feel like scrolling a feed.
Set a clear limit
Tell the couple exactly how many photos the album holds, for example 250. A counter that shows "180 of 250 chosen" turns an endless task into one with a finish line.
Give a date
Agree a selection deadline when you share the gallery, and send one friendly reminder before it. Couples are busy after the wedding; a date helps them plan.
Let them send, then lock
When the couple taps "Send selections", lock the choice so the editor can start without the list changing under them. If they really need changes, they can ask, and you decide.
Approve the album spread by spread
Instead of sending a PDF and waiting for a long message with changes, let the couple approve each spread or comment on it. Small decisions are easier than one big one.
Keep families out of the first round
Parents will want a say. Suggest the couple chooses first, then shares the album draft with family for comments. Two rounds are faster than ten opinions at once.
In ShotSync
Couples see their gallery in the app, heart their favourites up to the limit you set, and send them with one tap. The album then comes back spread by spread for approval.
